At the March 4, 2010 Annual General Meeting, a vote was held and Swift Creek Estates became a leash-only community. Please note that not all neighbouring communities follow the same policy.

If you encounter a pet that is off leash, residents are encouraged to prioritize personal safety and use discretion when deciding whether to engage. When appropriate and comfortable, a polite and respectful reminder of the Swift Creek Estates leash policy may be helpful. Alternatively, concerns may be reported to the County By-Law Officer by calling 403-230-1401 and providing the location and any identifying details.
